Spool XR6 Main Cap Girdles are compatible with the OEM Windage Tray, Main Caps and Sump.

Manufactured from 10mm steel. These girdles when combined with ARP main studs increase the torsional rigidity of the cylinder block.

ARP – The world leader in fastener technology has just released a new pro series main stud kit for Australian manufactured ford 4.0L (XR6) inline 6 cylinder applications.

This product includes a set of fourteen 8740 main studs that are nominally rated at 200,000 psi, fourteen 8740 chrome moly steel 12 point nut, a serrated flange nut to secure the oil pick up tube to the main cap and a ½ oz pack of ARP ultra- torque fastener assembly lubricant.

All pro series 8740 studs are centerless ground, heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining, and designed to exceed the OEM fastener s in strength and durability. Optimum design, enhanced reliability and increased strength are the main attributes of ARP’s pro series main stud kit.
