Ford EL / EF SOHC 4.0L Rebuild kit with Spool H Beam Conrods and Ross Forged Pistons

Spool EL / EF SOHC 4.0 Litre Ford con rods and custom Ross Racing pistons are now available. This combination uses SPOOL EL / EF H beam con rods with a custom piston.

These are a custom piston made for us and rated at 1000hp by Ross Racing Pistons. The pistons come standard with a 0.200″ (5mm) Tool steel 52100 gudgeon pin.

This Rebuild Kit includes the following quality parts:

• Spool Forged H Beam Conrods
• Ross Racing Forged Pistons (Rings, Pins and Locks Included)
• Cometic MLS Head Gasket
• ACL Race Series 
• ACL Race Series 

Pistons are available in:

• Compression Ratios: 8.5:1 / 9:1
• Bore Sizes: +0.5mm and +1mm
• Pistons come with rings, gudgeon pins and pin locks
• Forged 2618

Ross Racing Pistons:

All of Ross Racing Pistons (since 1985) have been forged from 2618 billet bar stock and have been heat treated and aged to a T61 condition (2618-T61). 2618-T61 is the material that is used when fatigue resistance and durability are of prime importance by all premium racing piston manufacturers.
